RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

At The Gaming Technology Store, your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we are here to make it right.

1. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Returned within 30 days of the delivery date
  • Item is unused, unopened, and in its original condition
  • All original packaging, manuals, and accessories are intact
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is provided
  • Item is not listed under Non-Returnable Items (see Section 2)

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Digital products, downloadable content (DLC), game codes, and gift cards
  • Opened video games or software with a broken seal
  • Items marked "Final Sale" at the time of purchase
  • Items damaged due to misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modification
  • Products with missing serial numbers or tampered labels

3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email support@thegamingtechnology.store with subject: "Return Request - Order #[Your Order Number]"
  2. Include your name, order number, item(s) to return, and reason
  3. Attach photos if the item is damaged or defective
  4. Wait for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number — we respond within 2 business days
  5. Pack the item securely in original packaging with the RMA number on the box
  6. Ship to the address provided in our email

Do not ship items back without an RMA number. Unauthorized returns will be refused.

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • Our error (wrong item, defective product): we provide a prepaid return label at no cost
  • All other reasons: customer is responsible for return shipping
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you within 3 business days.

  • Credit card refunds: 5–10 business days to appear on your statement
  • PayPal refunds: 3–5 business days
  • Store credit (if selected): issued immediately upon approval

Partial refunds may apply for items returned with signs of use or missing accessories.

6. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for defective or damaged items only. Contact us within 7 days of delivery. If the exact item is unavailable, we will offer a replacement of equal or greater value or a full refund.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Email support@thegamingtechnology.store with photos and your order number
  3. Do not discard any packaging
  4. We will arrange a replacement or full refund within 5 business days
